I am hope-filled because I can be. I have been given much. During this season of Advent and Christmas, my goal is to be a Bringer of Hope, to share my abundance and wealth with others who have less, to help them see their worth, to help them feel seen, heard, and loved.

Are we standing up in the conviction that miracles can indeed happen, that there can be peace? Or are we throwing up our hands in despair, believing that nothing can change? This article reflects on a poem written by Ann Weems called I No Longer Pray for Peace. Do we believe in the light within ourselves, the light and power of Christ in each of us? Now is the time for us to "stand up" and bear this light to those around us.
